Operation Extinction

by Perry D Foster
I first realized North American politics had changed during the Obama era. George W. Bush had been an unpopular president. It was clear that America wanted change. Along came Barrack Obama who captured the presidency and initiated a social revolution. But along with that came a political perspective that could only be described as sinister. I remember hearing a news item stating that an Obama advisor had said now was the time to destroy the Republicans and remove conservative thought from America forever.  Not Fair Play I was shocked. I had grown up in a different world. No one sought to […]

The Joy of Labelling

by Perry D Foster
Nothing makes a political extremist happier than labelling someone. When you label someone you condemn them without ever having to prove your case. If the label sticks, your opponent is forever stained with whatever association you place on them. Labelling is powerful, and it is being used now more than ever. But it has always been there, a tool for those who would oppress us, from school yard bullies to political tyrants. We must never forget how dangerous it is, and we must realize that it has the potential to lead us into one  of the darkest periods in our history.  […]

What They Can’t Take Away

by Perry D Foster
Canada is still a great country, but these are dark days. This is true not just of our surpassingly beautiful nation but of the rest of the world as well. We are facing so many challenges to our rights and freedoms that is almost exhausting to list them all. And It isn’t just our rights and freedoms per se, but the very quality of our lives: our love of life and the absence of fear. These days, both of those are in short supply. The Things We Could Lose At stake are many of the rights and freedoms that we […]

The Power of Gradualism

by Perry D Foster
Things can gradually go bad. That’s what we’re seeing today. I wish I had a dime for every time I’ve heard the expression “I never thought I’d see the day.” Now “the day” is here. We are living in an insane world. Courageous and eloquent people have raged against it, and still do, but the insanity continues. If you are told that the six-foot five hairy man in front of you is a woman, and you have to agree in order to save your job and family, then you are living in an insane world.  An Inch at a Time […]

In Defence of Sir John A.

by Perry D Foster
Sir John A. MacDonald, the architect of Confederation and father of Canada, has suffered greatly in the last few years. His statues have been toppled and beheaded, and his image has been covered in red paint, a symbolic gesture indicating that he was responsible for the genocide of aboriginal peoples. Schools named after him have been re-named. All of this sad display is part of a general effort to rewrite history. The traditional heroes of North America like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson and Wilfred Laurier have all received the same treatment. Even Winston Churchill, the man who saved […]

What is Woke Culture?

by Perry D Foster
First there was political correctness. Now there’s “woke” culture. For the last 20 or 30 years these two influences have damaged and weakened the foundations of western culture and removed our freedoms. The most common statement I hear regarding “wokeness” is “I can’t believe this exists. What’s going on?” People are stunned by the speed and efficiency with which our Judeo Christian culture has been attacked and it values inverted. They are shocked and terrified to find themselves moral and cultural refugees in a world where decent values have been reversed and repugnant practices have become the norm. How did […]
